Domaine de Pialentou

Its origins date back to the end of the 19th century. The Domaine de Pialentou, a certified organic estate, covers around 10 hectares on the terraces and hillsides of the left bank of the River Tarn.

The Domaines & Châteaux range by Vinovalie is the legacy of a real living heritage. Each wine tells a story that we are bound to pass on.

AOP Gaillac Rouge

In 2000, the Domaine de Pialentou made the move to responsible farming, and earned its organic farming certificate in 2010. Made from a delicate blend of the Gaillac appellation’s main grape varieties (Syrah and Fer dominate Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot), this wine is made traditionally, respecting the terroir and its typical characteristics.

a history

This wine is the result of two men coming together, the owner of the Domaine Pialentou, Jean Gervais, a huge wine enthusiast and former wine merchant, and Thierry Serrus. Our oenologist who makes wines in Gaillac is at the very heart of winemaking at the Domaine de Pialentou. And his taste buds never let him down! An unrivalled taster, technician and chemist, Thierry Serrus supervises all the production stages for this wine, from grape to table. His maxim: quality comes first.
