Its unique terroir, composed of sand-clay soil with sun-baked pebbles, enables the best possible ripening for the grapes that reveal their aromas so typical of Malbec: plum, blackberry and blueberry.

A history

From the 3rd terrace of the River Lot, growing on extremely old soil: 500,000 years Les Galets d’Olt owes its name to the terroir where on the top there are “galets” or pebbles created by the erosion of elements. A few centimetres below we reach the sand-clay level with scattered pebbles and the lower we go, the more clay is present. A characteristic that our teams cultivate enthusiastically.
