The only traces of SO2 in Sans Culotte are those that naturally develop during the alcoholic fermentation. The vinification and ageing of this collection require extreme, daily vigilance that the Vinovalie teams provide.
Sans Culotte is the result of a project by the Vinosulfite Research & Development programme. The aim of this programme is to develop new alternative solutions to sulphites using bio-sourced molecules with interesting anti-oxidant and antiseptic properties. In parallel to this fundamental research, Vinovalie worked on fine-tuning its vinification processes to create its first red Cahors with no added sulphites, using the technical expertise of our vinegrowers and oenologists to guarantee the wine’s protection at every stage of its creative process.
The wine has an intense red colour. The bouquet reveals jammy fruit and cocoa aromas. This wine has a ripe fruitiness and is concentrated with powerful aromas of dark berries like blackcurrant and blackberry. On the palate it is elegant, velvety and has good length.
