Démon Noir rosé

Démon Noir is the mischievous creation of our oenologist Hervé Froment and a reference to the legend of the little devil from the Cahors city.

Three diabolical wines. Démon Noir, cheeky fruitiness.

A history

The Cahors city needed a bridge worthy of its name... It is said that, infuriated by the construction’s slow progress, the foreman decided to do a deal with a little devil in exchange for his soul. The end of the work approached and the foreman attempted to cheat the little devil and was therefore cursed for his deceit. The top of the central tower of the Valentré Bridge collapsed and he was never able to complete his task. Half a century later, a stone statue of the little devil was built to commemorate the story. Today, our oenologist Hervé Froment presents his latest mischievous creation with this Malbec, a new little devil in Cahors.
